
Sundar Pichai started his career at McKinsey &Co in 2004 after having completed the Wharton MBA. Pichai was the president of Product Management in his Google venture. The first task was to enhance the user experience on the Google search bar which could be used with Firefox and Internet Explorer. He worked on many Google productslike Gadgets as well as Google Gears. Then came the turning point in Sundar's Google journey, when Sundar began working with Google's very own browser, Chrome. 2008. 2008 was a memorable year for Google Chrome, which saw its launch , and Pichai becoming Vice President for Product Management and Development. Pichai was elevated to the position of Senior Vice President. He was after that promoted to Product Chief Officer for Google along with the Android Smartphone Operating System.
