Dina Meyer was raised and born in Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing her junior year, she relocated to Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. She is the younger sister of Gregory, and has an older brother named Evan. Her first experience in the world of entertainment came as she was modeling between the ages of nine and 16. Ron Stetson trained her in the methods of acting taught by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. It took around three years. The other actors who received such instruction include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, as well as other people. Her first role was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate away from Los Angeles. After landing the lead role in Johnny Mnemonic where she did all of the stunts her own, she proved herself as an actress who is physically fit. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to get a regular part in the show Friends.
