Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural household. Born within South London. Madekwe is English, and her father was Nigerian. She was raised in the South London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. She went to an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an BA in acting. As a student at the academy was when she performed in various stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her career as an actress in the movie Storm Damage. The actress has been a guest on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. Then, she played Elisha on a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In the same time, she starred as Ollie in the six episodes in the series Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also appeared on the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 when she appeared on The dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes prior to being cancelled on The CW. The actress was selected in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe would depart the series following an appearance as a guest in the premiere episode from the 3rd season. She starred as Tituba on the show Salem between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a big family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her four older brothers were present as well and included twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. All of her brothers were athletic and played baseball and hockey throughout the summer and winter. They grew up playing stadiums and played baseball. Ashley was never able to walk, however she did dance. As she was two and a half, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley discovered her love for dancing at the age of. Ashley participated in the top divisions for jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished from high school. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
